Total of 18 bullfighters laid it all on the line for over $10,000 in prize money
CLAYTON, Georgia — In what was the first stand-alone event of the 2022 season, 2020 Ultimate Bullfighters (UBF) World Champion Chance Moorman (Lytle, Texas), took home top prize for the second year in a row in Clayton, Georgia at the Tallulah Falls Invitational after an electric 87.5-point bull fight in the Championship Round.
Moorman edged second-place Colton Orcutt (Kersey, Colorado) at 83.5, by a full four points.
Top prized earned the current World No. 1 another $3,250 and important points in his pursuit of a second world title. World No. 2 Knox Dunn (Slaughter, Louisiana) is currently out of competition after an injury sustained at the last Bulls Gone Wild UBF event in Fort Worth, Texas on April 7th. However, with the massive payouts left on the 2022 season, like the $140,000 on the line in May during the PBR World Finals, anything is yet possible.
A total of 18 of the best bullfighters in the world descended upon Clayton with competition starting on Friday night. There, via six rounds of competition, the top 12 would advance to Saturday. On Saturday, six head-to-head matches took place with the top six advancing to fight another bull.
On Friday, Moorman put up the highest-marked fight of the show at 86.5 points, edging Trenton Ross by a single point. Both men advanced to Saturday. On Saturday Moorman raked in the points, showing out for a huge 88 in the first bout of the performance, earning his spot in the illustrious Championship Round.
In the Championship Round, which Moorman won, the top score took top money followed by Orcutt and then a three-way tie, all at 83 points for $1,000 a man between the 20-year old Austin Ashley, Michigan’s Tyler Washburn and recently back from injury, Tucker Lane. Ross of Jackson, Wyoming rounded out the top six despite registering the high-marked fight of the entire weekend at 89 points, in Saturday’s first round.
This week, the UBF and PBR’s Bulls Gone Wild wraps up with the final 2022 PBR World Finals qualifier inside Cowtown Coliseum on Thursday, April 21st starting at 7:30pm CT. This event is the fourth in a series of 20 on tap in historic Fort Worth, Texas.
The next stand-alone events on the 2022 UBF Season are the Ultimate Bullfighters Invitational in Albion, Nebraska on April 30th and the 2021 Event of the Year, The Party in the Pines in Swainsboro, Georgia on May 6th and 7th.

About Ultimate Bullfighters Inc. (UBF): Founded in 2008 by J.B. Mauney, Luke Kaufman and Chad Ellison; was created over a decade ago to promote the sport of freestyle bullfighting. In the action-packed sport of freestyle bullfighting, a bullfighter competes for 60 seconds against a fighting bull predominantly of Spanish descent in an effort to score points for maneuvers performed during the competition. Unlike traditional bullfighting, the animals are not harmed or killed. Bullfighters are judged solely on their ability to perform dangerous stunts as close to the bull as possible without getting hit. Having paid out over $1,000,000 since formation and over $500,000 in the past two seasons, UBF embarks on a new journey with a historic partnership with both the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and Fort Worth, Texas including the UBF World Finals and an event series beginning in March 2022.
